Truck Pull is a competition to see which team can pull a Second Harvest delivery truck across Nathan Phillips Square in the fastest time. Teams compete head-to-head in a tournament format.

There will be 4 wave times staggered throughout the day. Each wave will have a total of 9 teams split into 3 heats. The winners of each heat will compete in the final round to take home gold, silver, or bronze medals.

There are also lots of other optional activities to take part in onsite throughout the day!

The 2024 Second Harvest Truck Pull Challenge is a corporate team challenge that will be open to public spectators.

Each team will be assigned a wave time. There are 4 wave times that are set up throughout the day. The first wave begins at 10:30 a.m. and the last at 1:30 p.m. You will be expected to be at the event for a minimum of 2 hours. While we appreciate all requests, the earlier you register, the easier it will be to accommodate them.

  1. Assemble a team of 10 people and register your team.
  2. Raise $2,000 to reserve a lane for your team – your fundraising will help provide food for 6,000 meals!
  3. Get ready to compete against Toronto’s top teams to pull a truck 100 feet across Nathan Phillips Square.

Your Second Harvest contact will keep you up to date on fundraising tips, event expectations and safety precautions.

Expect a fun and engaging team-bonding experience and the opportunity to connect with our community of passionate supporters. Come cheer for your favourite team and take part in other fun activities at the event.

Plus, complimentary food, drinks and massages are available onsite for all participants!

Once your team raises the minimum of $2,500, there are no additional fees to register for the challenge.
